Shondha - সন্ধ্যা is a French symphonic metal band founded in 2021 by drummer Vicky in Rouen. Now based in Paris, the band continues its journey with Marlène on vocals, Ame on guitar (co-founder of Corvius), Alex (Fenrir) on bass, and Vicky on drums. Like many bands, paths have changed after the album release, and we thank former members for their contribution while looking forward to the future.

“Shondha” means “Dusk” in Bengali, reflecting Vicky’s origins. The band blends metal intensity, orchestral grandeur, and lyric soprano power to create a dreamlike universe that explores beauty, struggle, and humanity’s journey through time.

After three years of work, the debut self-titled album was released on April 5th, 2024, with the first single Queen of the Witches launching on March 11th, 2024. Shondha is now ready to bring its music to the stage and continue its adventure in the symphonic metal scene
